Trendmill

Getting started

Set up Trendmill and see your first competitor activity.

Trendmill tracks what competitor brands send and run: their marketing emails, Meta and Google ads, Instagram posts and the landing pages their ads point to. It reads every piece as it arrives, records the offer, the discount, the retail moment and the techniques it uses, and sets each brand against the rest of its category.

You choose which brands matter to you by following them. Everything else in the app (Pulse, the calendar, the digest, the AI connection) is built around that list.

Set up in five minutes

Create your workspace

Sign up, name your organisation and pick a plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. Your organisation is the workspace your team shares: the brands you follow, your saved folders, your digest settings and your API keys all belong to it.

Follow your competitors

Open Brands, find the brands you compete with and press Follow. Start with the five you'd name in a trade meeting. See Following brands for how coverage works and how to ask for a brand we don't track yet.

Open Pulse

Pulse is the first page you see after signing in. It shows what the brands you follow did over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, against the window before. See Pulse.

Turn on the digest

In Settings → Notifications, send a summary of the week to email, Slack or both. It arrives Monday at 8am Sydney time unless you choose another day and hour. See Digest and Slack.

Invite your team

In Settings → Members, invite the people who should see the same competitors. See Workspace, team and plans.

History starts when tracking starts

Trendmill holds a brand's content from the day we began tracking it. If a brand is new to Trendmill, its history builds from today. We don't backfill older campaigns.
