Library
Search and filter every email, ad, post and landing page Trendmill has captured.
The Library holds everything Trendmill has captured, across every brand we track, not only the ones you follow. Narrow it with search and filters, and open any piece to see it in full.
Search
Type in the search box and choose a mode:
- Text matches the words, across subjects, copy and brand names.
- Similar matches the meaning. "Mother's Day gifting with free shipping" finds emails about that idea even when they use different words.
Filters
Filters combine, and every filter you set is kept in the page address, so you can bookmark a view or send the link to a colleague.
| Filter | What it narrows to |
|---|---|
| Channel | Email, Meta ads, Google ads, Instagram or landing pages |
| Brand | One or more brands |
| Brands you follow | Only the brands your organisation follows |
| Type | The kind of piece, such as a promotion, a launch or a newsletter |
| Event | The retail moment, such as EOFY or Black Friday |
| Offer | Has an offer, or has none |
| Discount depth | Bands of stated discount |
| Technique | Pieces that use every technique you pick |
| Tone, Layout, CTA | How it's written, how it's laid out and what it asks you to do |
| Date | Last 7, 30 or 90 days, last 12 months, all time, or your own range |
Technique filters match pieces that use all the techniques you select, not any of them.
Sort and views
Sort by Newest first or Longest running. Longest running puts the ads that have stayed live longest at the top, which is the quickest way to find what's working in a category.
Switch between Grid, for the creative, and Table, for scanning many pieces at once.
Open a piece
Click any card to open it. You'll see the screenshot or creative, and what Trendmill read from it:
- the brand, sender and source
- the type, the retail moment, the offer and the discount
- the tone, the techniques and the calls to action
- for ads, first seen, last seen and whether it's still running
- the plain-text body or full description
Use Open original to visit the source, the brand's name to open its brand page, and the heart to file it in a folder.
Grouped ad variants show a +N count on the card. They are near-identical versions of one image ad, kept together so one test doesn't fill the page.
